A law firm seeks a dedicated Associate Attorney with 2-5 years of experience to join its medical malpractice department. Duties

  • Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
  • Conduct in-depth legal research to support case strategy and provide comprehensive opinions
  • Support case management by preparing for depositions, hearings, and trials
  • Conduct depositions, including witness preparation, attending, and analyzing deposition transcripts to refine case strategies
  • Identify and proactively undertake additional duties that contribute to the team’s success
  • Engage in business development activities with mentorship to build a personal client network

Requirements

  • Experience: 2-5 years in medical malpractice litigation (experience in related fields also considered)
  • Skills: Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities; excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Team Skills: Ability to work independently and as a collaborative team member

Education

  • Degree: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

  • Bar Admission: Active membership in the Pennsylvania State Bar; New Jersey Bar preferred
