Oil and Gas Attorney

A law firm in Denver is seeking an Oil and Gas Attorney with 2-3 years of experience. The ideal candidate should be highly motivated, self-starting, and able to thrive both independently and within a team environment. Significant experience drafting title opinions and a license to practice in Colorado are preferred, while landman experience is considered a plus. Excellent academic qualifications and communication skills are required.

Duties:

• Draft title opinions for oil and gas properties.
• Conduct legal research and analysis related to oil and gas transactions and regulatory matters.
• Assist clients with negotiations, contracts, and agreements in the oil and gas industry.
• Provide legal counsel on matters pertaining to mineral rights, leases, and royalties.
• Represent clients in oil and gas litigation and dispute resolution.

Requirements:

• License to practice law in Colorado preferred.
• 2-3 years of experience in oil and gas law.
• Strong academic qualifications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Education:

JD from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

License to practice law in Colorado preferred.
