Litigation Member Attorney

A law firm is seeking a Litigation Member Attorney in Oxford, MS:

Job Overview: The firm seeks an experienced Litigation Member Attorney to join their team in Oxford, MS. This role requires strong litigation skills and a deep understanding of Mississippi law.

Duties:

• Represent clients in various litigation matters, including but not limited to civil litigation, commercial disputes, and other legal proceedings.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on complex legal issues.
• Manage and oversee all phases of litigation, from initiation to resolution.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the courts.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
• Active membership and good standing with the Mississippi State Bar.
• Minimum of 7+ years of litigation experience, with a strong background in handling diverse litigation cases.
• Proven track record of successful outcomes in litigation matters.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Experience in alternative dispute resolution methods is a plus.

Education and Certifications:
