Duties

  • Draft detailed and accurate patent applications to protect client inventions effectively.

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their technical innovations and intellectual property goals.
  • Deliver high-quality work while meeting client deadlines and internal production targets.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in drafting and prosecuting patent applications.
  • Strong writing skills, with the ability to prepare comprehensive patent applications and persuasive responses to office actions.
  • In-depth knowledge of current patent law issues and strategies for navigating them.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with a focus on professional growth and client satisfaction.

Education

  • A bachelor’s or advanced degree in one of the following technical fields:
    • Electrical Engineering
    • Computer Science
    • Computer Engineering
    • Data Science
    • Physics
    • Mechanical Engineering
    • Materials Science

Certifications

  • For Patent Agent candidates, active registration with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) is required, with good standing.
