Duties:

  • Manage a caseload of personal injury cases from inception through resolution, including trial preparation and court appearances.
  • Provide expert legal advice to clients regarding personal injury claims, ensuring they understand their legal rights and options.
  • Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel on behalf of clients.
  • Represent clients in court and during mediations and arbitrations.
  • Handle all aspects of case management, including document drafting, discovery, motions, and client communications.
  • Collaborate with other legal professionals within the firm to ensure the best possible outcomes for clients.
  • Build and manage a personal docket, with the opportunity to bring in new business and cases.
  • Provide high-quality, client-focused service while managing expectations and ensuring case progress.
  • Maintain strong communication with clients, providing regular updates on case status.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in personal injury law, with a proven ability to run a caseload independently.
  • Licensed to practice law in Colorado for at least 2 years.
  • Strong ability to negotiate with opposing counsel and achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
  • Demonstrated trial experience, with a history of successfully litigating personal injury cases.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to build and manage relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Personable and client-focused demeanor with the ability to provide high-quality service.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in Colorado.
