Senior Litigation Attorney

A law firm in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking a Senior Litigation Attorney with 10+ years of litigation practice experience. The ideal candidate will have extensive trial preparation and courtroom experience, including file responsibility, motion practice, and deposition experience. They should possess exceptional advocacy, research, writing, and negotiation skills, with strong academic credentials and a detail-oriented, organized work ethic. Active admission to the California Bar is required.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a high-volume caseload and handle all aspects of litigation from inception through trial.
• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery requests.
• Prepare for and attend court hearings, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
• Work with e-discovery software to manage electronic document review and production.
• Develop and implement litigation strategies to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal team members.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license in good standing with the State Bar of California.
• 10+ years of litigation practice experience, with substantial trial and courtroom experience.
• Proficiency in e-discovery software and electronic document management.
• Exceptional advocacy, research, writing, and negotiation skills.
• Strong academic credentials with a demonstrated record of success.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized with a strong work ethic.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license in good standing with the California State Bar.
