Associate Attorney Water Law

A law firm seeks an experienced Associate Attorney specializing in Colorado water law to join its dynamic water law team. The ideal candidate will have significant experience with water court proceedings and water rights transactions. Duties

• Represent clients in Colorado water court proceedings, managing cases from initiation to resolution.
• Handle water rights transactions, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating agreements.
• Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis on Colorado water law matters.
• Develop and implement legal strategies to protect and advance client interests.
• Collaborate with a team of attorneys to provide comprehensive legal services.
• Maintain thorough case documentation and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in Colorado water law.
• Demonstrated expertise in water court proceedings and water rights transactions.
• Strong understanding of Colorado water law statutes and regulations.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active membership in good standing with the Colorado Bar Association.
