Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Investigation & Case Preparation:

    • Supervise and direct investigations to build strong, compelling cases.
    • Analyze insurance coverage and gather vital evidence.
    • Develop a comprehensive strategy for each case, ensuring thorough preparation for trial if necessary.
  • Negotiation & Settlement:

    • Strategize and negotiate to secure favorable settlements while aiming for full settlement value.
    • Manage relationships with adjusters, engaging in aggressive, tactical negotiations.
    • Initiate litigation when required and guide clients through all stages of the legal process.
  • Litigation & Trial:

    • Draft pleadings, discovery, and motions to support legal proceedings.
    • Coordinate and execute preparations for trials, mediation, and arbitration.
  • General Responsibilities:

    • Review and approve legal documents prepared by team members.
    • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient case progression and resolution.
    • Attend daily huddles and stay updated on case status and developments.

Requirements:

  • Strong commitment to client advocacy and legal excellence.
  • Exceptional legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize effectively.
  • High attention to detail and precision in all tasks.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active State Bar license in good standing.
