Litigation/Employment Law Attorney

A law firm seeks a driven and dynamic attorney with a focus on litigation or employment law. This hybrid position, based in Sacramento, CA, offers the opportunity to join a collaborative legal team specializing in employment and business litigation. Duties:

• Manage and oversee a variety of employment and business litigation cases.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials as necessary.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex litigation strategies and case development.
• Maintain consistent communication with clients, offering legal guidance and updates on case status.
• Handle case management tasks, including discovery, motions, and trial preparation.

Requirements:

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Excellent legal research and writing abilities.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented and diverse environment.
• Experience in case management, depositions, law and motion practice, or trial is a plus, but not required.
• Junior attorneys are encouraged to apply.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active member in good standing with the California State Bar.
