Duties

  • Manage a full caseload of workers' compensation cases with varying degrees of complexity.

  • Negotiate settlements and medical bills on behalf of clients.
  • Depose treating and independent medical examination (IME) physicians.
  • Maintain regular and clear communication with clients throughout the case process.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in workers' compensation law.
  • Admitted to practice law in the State of Illinois.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and client service skills.
  • Analytical skills for case assessment and legal strategy development.
  • Spanish language proficiency is a plus, but not required.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active license to practice law in Illinois.
