Job Overview: A law firm seeks a dedicated and experienced Associate Attorney to focus on probate, estate administration, and guardianship matters. Duties:

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of legal experience, including at least 3 years in estate planning, probate, guardianship, and estate administration.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Mac/Apple computers, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), and law firm case management software.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication, organization, and client-centered approach.
  • Problem-Solving: Solution-oriented mindset, with resilience and positivity when facing challenging client situations.
  • Reliability: Able to work independently with a proactive approach and demonstrate accountability.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited U.S. law school.

Certifications:

  • Active, unrestricted law license in Texas.

Skills:

  • Proficient in legal research, writing, and drafting of court pleadings and briefs.
  • Skilled in client engagement and delivering clear, compassionate legal counsel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Able to meet law firm billable and collection requirements.
