Job Overview: A prestigious law firm is seeking a Midlevel Litigation Associate to join its Litigation group, specifically within the White Collar, Investigations, and Government Enforcement subgroup. This position is available for the firm's Washington, D.C. office. The ideal candidate will have strong litigation experience in securities, regulatory, and white-collar matters and will be expected to contribute to high-profile cases while collaborating with a dynamic team.

Location:

  • Washington, D.C.

Duties:

  • Handle complex litigation cases involving securities, regulatory, and white-collar issues

  • Draft legal documents such as briefs, motions, and pleadings

  • Provide strategic legal advice and solutions to clients in high-stakes matters

  • Conduct legal research and analysis to develop innovative litigation strategies

  • Represent clients in court and participate in oral advocacy

  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and team members on complex case management

  • Manage case deadlines, prepare reports, and provide timely updates to clients

  • Work independently and as part of a team to meet client expectations and achieve desired outcomes

  • Foster and maintain positive relationships with clients, colleagues, and external parties

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4 years of strong litigation experience, specifically in securities, regulatory, or white-collar matters

  • Experience working at a law firm is required

  • Federal court clerkship experience is a plus

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex legal issues and provide strategic guidance

  • Strong organizational, research, and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently as needed

Education:

  • Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Bar Admission in Washington, D.C.
