Civil Litigation Attorney California Licensed (Hybrid or Remote)

Job Overview:
A respected law firm in California is seeking a skilled Civil Litigation Attorney with at least five years of experience in business litigation. This full-time position offers flexibility with the option to work in a hybrid or fully remote capacity. The attorney will manage a diverse caseload, collaborate closely with clients and senior partners, and take the lead on legal strategies and case management. The ideal candidate will have strong research and writing skills and be comfortable working independently.

Duties:

• Perform legal research and draft briefs, pleadings, motions, and other necessary legal documents
• Prepare and finalize legal correspondence, motions, and pleadings for clients
• Argue motions in court and represent clients during legal proceedings
• Develop case strategies based on legal analysis to meet client needs
• Provide guidance and leadership to administrative staff on client billing, meetings, and project finalization

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in business litigation
• Strong legal writing and research abilities
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active member of the California Bar in good standing
