Employment Litigation Associate

Job Overview:
A law firm in Orlando, FL, is seeking an experienced Employment Litigation Associate to join its legal team. This role involves defending employers in employment-related litigation, advising on labor law matters, and representing clients in administrative proceedings, mediations, and arbitrations. The ideal candidate will have strong litigation experience and a deep understanding of employment law and agency procedures.

Location:

• Orlando, Florida

Duties:

• Defend and litigate lawsuits involving various employment-related claims and agency charges of discrimination.
• Advise, counsel, and train employers on labor and employment law compliance.
• Represent employers in court, before administrative agencies, at mediations, and in arbitration.
• Handle class and collective actions related to employment disputes.
• Manage cases involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, employment contracts, tort claims, data privacy, and non-compete agreements.

Requirements:

• Minimum of three years of experience, preferably in employment law or commercial litigation.
• Strong understanding of state and federal agency procedures.
• Ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active Florida Bar admission in good standing.
