Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney to join its team in Farmington, CT, specializing in foreclosure matters. This position involves managing foreclosure cases from inception to resolution, ensuring compliance, and providing exceptional service to clients. Duties

• Prepare, review, and approve foreclosure-related pleadings
• Manage all aspects of foreclosure cases, including contested matters
• Represent clients in mediations, depositions, and hearings (both telephonic and in-person)
• Conduct regular client meetings and provide case updates
• Review and confirm the accuracy of chains of title
• Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as needed

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• An active member in good standing with the Connecticut Bar Association
• Ability to manage and prioritize a high-volume caseload
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on client interaction via email, phone, and client systems
• Excellent client service and relationship management abilities
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to make timely decisions
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented with excellent multi-tasking capabilities

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active Connecticut Bar License (required)
