A law firm seeks a skilled Senior Commercial Real Estate Attorney to join their team in Andover, MA. This full-time, primarily on-site position involves managing a variety of complex legal matters related to commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, sales, financing, and title reviews. The attorney will collaborate closely with a diverse clientele and receive support from experienced paralegals.

Duties:

  • Oversee and handle complex legal issues about commercial real estate transactions.
  • Manage acquisitions, sales, financing deals, and perform title reviews.
  • Provide expert legal counsel and representation to clients navigating intricate real estate matters.
  • Conduct thorough analyses of zoning and land use regulations relevant to real estate transactions.
  • Negotiate terms and agreements with clients and third parties to achieve favorable outcomes.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with clients throughout the transaction process.
  • Collaborate with paralegals and other team members to ensure all legal documents and filings are accurate and timely.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in Massachusetts; current admission in New Hampshire or willingness to obtain it (cost covered by the firm).
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in commercial real estate law.
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited institution.

Certifications:

  • Must hold an active license to practice law in Massachusetts.
  • New Hampshire bar admission is preferred or must be obtained.
