Job Overview:

A prominent law firm is seeking a Junior to Midlevel Associate with 1-5 years of experience in intellectual property disputes to join its growing IP litigation team. This position offers the opportunity to work on high-profile intellectual property cases, including patent, trademark, and trade secret disputes. The ideal candidate will possess a technical background in electrical or computer engineering, computer science, or a related field, and will be an active member of the bar in the state of application.

Location:

Duties:

• Handle complex intellectual property disputes, including patent infringement, trademark, and trade secrets cases.
• Draft and review legal documents, including complaints, motions, discovery requests, and settlement agreements.
• Assist with managing discovery processes and develop strategies for document review.
• Conduct legal research and draft memoranda on IP-related issues.
• Participate in client meetings and contribute to case strategies.
• Attend depositions, hearings, and trials as part of a team.
• Provide strategic counsel to clients on IP litigation and enforcement issues.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and other team members to drive case outcomes.

Requirements:

• 1-5 years of intellectual property litigation experience at a large law firm or equivalent.
• Strong technical background, preferably in electrical or computer engineering, computer science, or a similar field.
• Active membership in the state bar where applying.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.

Education:

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the state bar where applying.
