Duties:

  • Drafting and prosecuting patent applications, including claims drafting, responses to office actions, and overall patent portfolio management.
  • Handling patent litigation matters, including infringement analysis, discovery, and trial preparation.
  • Advising clients on patent strategy, patentability assessments, and patent-related transactions.
  • Collaborating with inventors and legal teams to prepare high-quality patent filings and litigation strategies.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and changes in patent laws, particularly in the fields of electrical engineering, software, and wireless networks.

Requirements:

  • Experience in intellectual property law with a focus on patent prosecution and litigation.
  • A background in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a similar technical field is essential.
  • Design engineering experience, especially with chip companies, is a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with networking, software, and wireless technologies (3G/4G/5G) is highly preferred.
  • Must be admitted to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
  • 3-6 years of patent prosecution experience, including application drafting.

Education:
