Associate Attorney

Job Overview
A law firm seeks a Litigation Associate Attorney to become a valued member of its legal team in Forest Hills, NY. This role will offer the opportunity to manage a variety of litigation matters with a focus on personal injury cases, particularly involving motor vehicle accidents. Duties

• Draft a wide range of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery demands, responses, and client correspondence.
• Conduct depositions and represent clients in court appearances.
• Negotiate favorable settlements for clients in personal injury and motor vehicle accident cases.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure case strategies are executed effectively and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation.

Requirements

• Must be admitted to practice law in New York State.
• Previous experience in personal injury law or litigation is preferred but not required.
• Fluency in Spanish is a plus, but not a requirement.
• Strong attention to detail in legal drafting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team.
• Strong organizational skills and punctuality are essential.
• Must present a professional and polished appearance at all times.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

• Active license to practice law in New York State.
