A prominent law firm is seeking a skilled and motivated Project Finance Associate Attorney to join its team. This role is ideal for an attorney with 3-5 years of experience, particularly those with expertise in representing lenders or tax equity investors in renewable energy project finance transactions. The position requires strong legal analysis, excellent written communication, and the ability to handle complex projects efficiently.

Duties:

  • Represent lenders and tax equity investors in renewable energy project finance transactions.
  • Draft and negotiate project financing documents, including loan agreements, security agreements, and related documents.
  • Advise clients on regulatory compliance, risk management, and financing structures within the renewable energy sector.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and other professionals to deliver high-quality legal services.
  • Manage multiple transactions simultaneously while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
  • Provide strategic legal advice to clients on transactional matters in project finance.
  • Conduct legal research and stay current on developments in energy law and finance.

Requirements:

  • At least 3-5 years of experience in transactional law, with a focus on project finance.
  • Experience working with lenders or tax equity investors in the renewable energy sector is highly preferred.
  • Strong academic background and outstanding legal writing and research skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex transactions and work independently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be a member of the Florida Bar.

Education:

  • Juris Doctorate (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in the state of Florida.
