Lateral Bankruptcy Associate Attorney

A law firm in Wilmington, DE, is seeking a Lateral Bankruptcy Associate Attorney who has 2-5 years of exposure to or interest in bankruptcy practice. The ideal candidate will have experience in bankruptcy, corporate, or commercial law and possess strong academic credentials. Candidates must be admitted to practice law in Delaware and should demonstrate persuasive writing skills that display sound legal reasoning and the ability to evaluate arguments. A sincere interest and passion for practicing law in Delaware are essential.

Duties:

• Provide legal counsel on bankruptcy matters, including bankruptcy proceedings and corporate and commercial law issues.
• Research and analyze complex legal issues related to bankruptcy cases.
• Draft persuasive legal documents, pleadings, and briefs that demonstrate sound legal reasoning.
• Evaluate and respond to legal arguments presented by opposing parties.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and stakeholders to develop case strategies.
• Maintain accurate and organized case records and documentation.

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of exposure to or interest in bankruptcy practice.
• Experience in bankruptcy, corporate, or commercial law.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Admission to practice law in Delaware.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
