Duties

• Handle complex, multi-party construction defect litigation matters.
• Conduct discovery processes and draft substantive dispositive motions.
• Participate in depositions and courtroom or arbitration proceedings.
• Take on significant responsibility in trials or evidentiary hearings.
• Provide insights and strategies concerning insurance risk transfer for property damage claims.
• Maintain effective organization and time management while managing caseloads.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in litigation, particularly construction defect matters.
• Proven experience in courtroom or arbitration settings.
• Solid knowledge of insurance risk transfer issues related to property damage claims.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-approved law school.

Certifications

• An active member in good standing of the Florida Bar.
• Board Certification in Construction Law by the Florida Bar is preferred, though not required.

Skills

• Strong oral advocacy, legal research, and writing skills.
• Substantial experience in depositions, trial work, and evidentiary hearings.
• Ability to work independently with confidence.
• Excellent organizational and time management capabilities.
