Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm seeks a motivated and skilled litigation associate to join its Austin office. Duties

• Attend and prepare for depositions, hearings, and mediations.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Manage paper and electronic discovery, including sending and responding to requests.
• Review documents and conduct in-depth legal research.
• Provide clients with timely and professional case updates and reports.
• Participate actively in all aspects of litigation management.
• Collaborate with colleagues, as most cases require teamwork across multiple attorneys.
• Take on increasing responsibilities as you gain experience and demonstrate competence.

Requirements

• 2 to 5 years of experience in general civil litigation.
• Strong recent law school graduates with a passion for litigation are also encouraged to apply.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Eagerness to learn, grow, and take on greater responsibilities.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with other attorneys.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Texas State Bar License (Required).
