We are recruiting on behalf of a distinguished law firm in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, seeking a talented Associate Attorney to join their insurance defense team. The firm represents clients in a variety of cases, including personal injury, medical malpractice, automobile negligence, and premises liability. This role offers immediate hands-on litigation experience and provides a dynamic and supportive environment for attorneys eager to develop their careers.

Duties:

  • Conduct fact investigations and develop case strategies.
  • Collect, review, and organize case records.
  • Collaborate closely with clients throughout the litigation process.
  • Attend depositions, hearings, and trials.
  • Prepare legal motions and documents for trial.
  • Represent clients in complex insurance defense matters, such as medical malpractice and personal injury.

Requirements:

  • 3 to 7 years of legal practice experience.
  • Active Bar license in the State of Florida (required).
  • Experience in personal injury law or insurance defense preferred.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active Florida Bar license (required).

Skills:

  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for client interaction.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Experience with trial preparation and court proceedings.
