Job Overview:

Duties:

  • Collaborate with inventors, attorneys, and researchers to evaluate technologies and assess patentability.
  • Draft and file patent applications, responding to USPTO actions and office actions.
  • Manage client portfolios and provide strategic patent counsel.
  • Conduct prior art searches and provide analysis to support patent filing strategies.
  • Engage in patent prosecution for various technologies, including wireless communications, AI, and memory systems.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of trends and developments in intellectual property law and technology.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of patent prosecution experience.
  • Registered with the USPTO or qualified to register.
  • Strong technical background in electrical engineering or equivalent field.
  • Proficiency in 5G, Wi-Fi, wireless tech, AI, and RF front-end technologies.
  • Experience with patent prosecution in relevant fields like image processing, memory systems, and wireless communications.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Education:

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent).

Certifications:

  • USPTO registration or eligibility to become registered.

Skills:
