Job Details:

Duties:

  • Provide comprehensive estate planning services for high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth families.
  • Advise and manage private trust companies and family offices.
  • Develop and implement business succession planning strategies.
  • Create and administer charitable giving strategies and establish private foundations.
  • Draft and review complex legal documents related to personal and succession planning.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their goals and tailor plans to meet their needs.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support client needs and case development.
  • Represent clients in negotiations and legal proceedings.
  • Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations affecting personal and succession planning.
  • Mentor junior associates and support staff.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships and seek opportunities for business development.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in estate planning, private trust companies, family offices, business succession planning, and charitable giving strategies.
  • Outstanding academic credentials.
  • Proven work experience in a law firm or related environment.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to client service.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Demonstrated leadership potential and the desire to grow in this practice area.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • LL.M. in Taxation is a plus.

Certifications:
