Duties:

• Advise clients on their legal rights and draft legal documents relevant to each case.
• Represent clients in pretrial hearings and provide guidance on case strategies.
• Manage court appearances, trials, motion drafting, witness interviews, and legal research.
• Evaluate case outcomes using knowledge of legal precedents.
• Handle a diverse caseload with diligence and attention to detail.
• Conduct comprehensive legal analysis to assess possible case benefits for clients.
• Gather and analyze evidence to support client defenses or challenge prosecutorial charges.
• Prepare clients for depositions and identify case strategy goals by gathering insights from witnesses and key experts.
• Review all discovery, prepare motions, and negotiate with the District Attorney (DA).
• Attend court remotely, focusing on San Jose cases when necessary.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Criminal Defense.
• Proven background in handling federal, state, and local criminal cases.
• Collaborative team player willing to strategize and coordinate with associates.
• Strong bilingual skills in English and Spanish are highly preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a dedication to exceptional client service.
• Proficient in remote case management, including discovery review, motion preparation, and negotiation with the DA.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Admission to practice law in the state of Nevada.

Certifications:

• Active Nevada State Bar license or eligibility for reciprocity.
