Job Overview:

A law firm in New York City seeks a highly qualified Real Estate Attorney with a strong background in major law firms and stellar academic credentials. The ideal candidate should have 4-7 years of relevant experience and, preferably, be admitted to the New York State Bar.

Duties:

  • Conduct thorough legal research on real estate matters and provide well-founded advice to clients.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, leases, and agreements.
  • Represent clients in real estate transactions, negotiations, and litigation when necessary.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure seamless legal services.
  • Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations affecting real estate transactions.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the New York State Bar is preferred.
  • Proven experience in real estate law with a major law firm.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the New York State Bar (preferred).

Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of real estate laws, regulations, and industry practices.
  • Exceptional legal research and writing skills.
  • Negotiation and dispute resolution expertise.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

Education:
