Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel on various immigration matters, including work visas (H-1B, L-1, etc.), PERM labor certification, and corporate compliance
  • Handle complex immigration cases, including appeals to the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA)
  • Prepare and file immigration petitions and applications
  • Conduct legal research to ensure compliance with current immigration laws and regulations
  • Draft legal documents and provide clear and concise legal writing
  • Work with clients from specialized industries such as tech, healthcare, and others
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive client information with professionalism and integrity
  • Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to meet deadlines and client expectations

Requirements:

  • Experience handling complex immigration cases, including appeals to the BIA
  • Familiarity with business immigration, including work visas, PERM labor certification, and corporate compliance
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced law firm or corporate legal environment
  • Strong research, analytical, and legal writing skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to communicate complex legal information effectively
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity and professionalism

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the state bar
