Personal Injury/Civil Litigation Attorney

Job Overview:

A law firm is seeking an experienced Personal Injury/Civil Litigation Attorney to manage and oversee its civil litigation practice in Encino, CA. This role involves handling civil litigation cases from start to finish with minimal supervision, providing support to the workers' compensation department, and contributing to the firm's growth. Location:

Duties:

• Manage and supervise the civil litigation practice.
• Handle civil litigation cases from initiation to resolution.
• Conduct depositions for the workers' compensation department as needed.
• Collaborate with support staff for efficient case management.
• Optionally engage in trial work (trial experience a plus but not required).
• Assist in bringing new cases to the firm when possible.

Requirements:

• Proven ability to manage civil litigation cases independently with little or no supervision.
• Prior experience handling personal injury or civil litigation files.
• Strong case management and organizational skills.
• Ability to contribute to firm revenue through performance and case acquisition.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
• Active license to practice law in California.

Certifications:

• California State Bar membership in good standing.

Skills:

• Expertise in civil litigation and personal injury law.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Trial advocacy skills (preferred but not required).
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced legal environment.
