Duties:

• Represent clients in federal, state, and local statutory employment law claims.
• Handle restrictive covenant litigation and wage and hour matters.
• Draft employment policies, severance agreements, and related legal documents.
• Provide ongoing employment compliance counseling to clients.
• Support clients with traditional labor law issues, including NLRB matters and benefit fund litigation.
• Conduct legal research and offer strategic advice on labor and employment matters.

Requirements:

• 3-12 years of experience in litigation, with a focus on management-side employment cases.
• Hands-on experience with employment claims, including wage and hour and statutory claims.
• Ability to manage multiple clients and cases simultaneously.
• Admission to the New York Bar (additional admissions in New Jersey or Connecticut are a plus).

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active membership with the New York State Bar.

Certifications:

• New York Bar admission is required.
• Admission to New Jersey and/or Connecticut Bar is beneficial.

• Strong legal research and writing abilities.
• Highly organized and capable of managing multiple projects concurrently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in collaboration with a team.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws.
