As an Immigration Attorney, you will play a critical role in advising clients, preparing and submitting petitions, and representing clients in interviews, all while working closely with a supportive and collaborative team. Duties:

  • Advise clients on the best legal strategies for resolving their immigration cases.
  • Maintain consistent communication with clients throughout their immigration process.
  • Review immigration applications and petitions for accuracy before submission.
  • Prepare and represent clients in interviews with USCIS and consular officials.
  • Review Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) responses to identify solutions for clients.
  • Stay updated on changes in immigration law through continuous professional development.
  • Collaborate with team members to provide seamless legal services.
  • Manage multiple cases efficiently with minimal supervision.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Immigration Attorney.
  • A valid Bar license to practice law in any state.
  • Strong writing, verbal communication, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent critical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Spanish (oral and written) is required, as a significant portion of clients are Spanish-speaking.
  • Ability to work independently while managing a legal team and mentoring junior attorneys.
  • Strong client service skills and a client-centered approach to legal practice.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • TX Bar license in good standing.

Skills:

  • Expertise in immigration law, particularly USCIS and consular practices.
  • Proficient in case management software and other legal tools.
  • Strong research skills and the ability to stay current with immigration laws and regulations.
  • Leadership and team management skills.
  • Bilingual: Must be fluent in both English and Spanish.
