Bad Faith Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm is seeking a Bad Faith Attorney to join their team in Pensacola, FL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing claim files and other documentation, preparing defense strategies, conducting discovery, attending mediation, and trying cases in both state and federal court.

Duties:

• Analyze claim file and other documentation and prepare a defense strategy
• Conduct discovery, such as depositions and other written discovery
• Engage in motion practice
• Attend mediations
• Prepare for and try cases in both state and federal court
• Analyze the facts of the case and propose a defense strategy
• Report to clients and comply with all relevant guidelines

Requirements:

• 0-4 years of experience in appropriate legal practice
• Admission to the Florida Bar
• Strong, relevant, verifiable experience in bad faith litigation
• Excellent research, verbal, and written communication skills
• Great time management and problem-solving skills
• Superior attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with others
• Must meet expectations for billing goals

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the Florida Bar
