Job Overview:
A prominent law firm located in West Palm Beach is actively seeking a skilled Litigation Attorney to join its growing team. This opportunity is ideal for a highly motivated and experienced attorney with a focus on personal injury law, including but not limited to cases involving auto accidents, medical malpractice, negligent security, and sexual assault at both the federal and state levels. The firm offers a collaborative environment, ensuring you can focus on your litigation expertise without the additional burden of pre-suit cases or client marketing.

Duties:

• Handle an active litigation caseload of approximately 35-40 cases, focusing solely on litigation (no pre-suit cases).
• Collaborate with a dedicated support team of two experienced staff members to manage your cases efficiently.
• Take responsibility for settlement negotiations and trial preparation, with a focus on plaintiff personal injury matters.
• Receive a guaranteed percentage of settlements and verdicts obtained, as per the terms of the employment agreement.
• Work with a structured office environment that provides clear policies and procedures to ensure the efficient management of cases.
• Focus on trial law and litigation while avoiding the "business" aspects of running your firm.
• Leverage a dedicated intake department to handle new client inquiries and case intakes.

Requirements:

• Active membership in good standing with the Florida Bar.
• Minimum 5-10 years of plaintiff-side personal injury law experience, with substantial trial experience.
• Experience in Florida law preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Familiarity with case management software such as FileVine is a plus, but not required (training will be provided).
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a keen attention to detail.
• A customer-focused mindset and ability to work effectively with clients and staff at all levels.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Florida Bar membership is in good standing.

Skills:

• Trial experience, specifically in personal injury litigation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Familiarity with case management systems (FileVine preferred).
• Time management and interpersonal communication skills.
