Job Overview: A law firm in Birmingham, AL, is seeking an eviction attorney to manage and oversee eviction cases, ensuring thorough representation of clients in court and adherence to evolving legal standards. Duties:

• Oversee eviction caseload, providing expert legal advice and guidance to clients.
• Conduct legal research and draft various legal documents, including complaints, motions, and discovery responses.
• Represent clients in court hearings; courtroom experience is preferred.
• Stay informed on changes and trends in eviction law across the United States.
• Educate clients on legal updates and industry developments.

Requirements:

• Active membership with the California State Bar; additional Bar licenses are a plus.
• Minimum 1 year of experience practicing law, with a preference for eviction, foreclosure, litigation, or title experience.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree and Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active California State Bar membership.
• Must fulfill all licensing and continuing legal education (CLE) requirements.
