Duties:

• Represent clients in consumer bankruptcy matters with an emphasis on creative problem-solving.
• Manage regular client communication and case follow-ups.
• Prepare and file motions, pleadings, and other legal documents.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client files.
• Correspond with clients, attorneys, and courts through phone and email.
• Attend court hearings as needed.
• Collaborate with a supportive, team-oriented legal team to deliver high-quality service.

Requirements:

• New York State Bar License.
• Admission to the Eastern District of New York (EDNY); and Southern District of New York (SDNY) preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in consumer bankruptcy law.
• Proficiency with PACER.
• Comfortable drafting and filing legal documents.
• Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the New York State Bar.
