Duties

  • Work closely with the team to develop and refine litigation strategies, maximizing case value.
  • Use advanced case management software to streamline case tracking and communication, ensuring effective team collaboration.
  • Monitor and support case progress to ensure thorough development and timely resolution.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on complex legal issues and provide strategic direction in high-stakes cases.
  • Ensure compliance with legal standards, ethical obligations, and firm policies.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning, helping junior attorneys build trial skills and confidence.
  • Actively contribute to team meetings, case reviews, and collaborative decision-making processes.
  • Handle case-related tasks as needed to maintain operational efficiency and assist the team.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in personal injury litigation, with significant trial experience.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and mentoring legal teams.
  • Strong expertise in litigation processes, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, and trial strategy.
  • Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide actionable guidance.
  • Demonstrated success in maximizing case outcomes and preparing cases for trial.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to adapt to fast-paced, evolving environments.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in Texas with good standing.
