Job Overview:

Duties:

  • Handle a diverse caseload, including landlord/tenant, family law, personal injury, probate, real estate, and civil litigation matters.
  • Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and other legal documents.
  • Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and negotiations.
  • Advise clients on legal matters and develop case strategies.
  • Work collaboratively with senior attorneys and support staff.
  • Maintain client communication and ensure deadlines are met.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in civil litigation and transactional law.
  • Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable handling court appearances and advocating for clients.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Oregon State Bar (mandatory).
  • Admission to the Washington State Bar (preferred but not required).

Skills:
