A law firm in Denver is seeking a Mergers and Acquisitions Resource Attorney with extensive experience in US M&A corporate/transactional practice. The role involves managing the firm's transaction database, preparing legal documents, monitoring legal developments, and collaborating with various teams within the firm to support M&A initiatives.

 

Duties:

  • Input deal terms from signed firm deals into the Transaction Database
  • Coordinate with the knowledge management team to audit and maintain the database
  • Prepare drafts or revise existing precedent of template documents
  • Curate and organize the M&A group's forms, precedents, and know-how
  • Monitor legal and regulatory developments related to M&A practice and prepare summaries and alerts
  • Coordinate with the legal education team to develop content for associate trainings and firmwide training efforts
  • Work closely with the M&A marketing team to strategize on M&A promotion and assist with content creation for pitches and teach-ins
  • Assist attorneys with day-to-day requests for precedents, templates, and other resources
  • Participate in resource, knowledge management, and practice innovation projects as assigned

 

Requirements:

  • Must be a licensed attorney
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a US M&A corporate/transactional practice
  • Basic understanding of public and private M&A, corporate governance, board fiduciary duties, and market trends
  • Strong drafting and organizational skills
