The ideal candidate will have strong experience in immigration law, excellent bilingual communication skills, and a client-focused approach. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring effective case management and client satisfaction.

Location:

  • Miami Beach, Florida

Duties:

  • Respond to team inquiries regarding legal matters arising from client interactions
  • Maintain direct communication with clients, providing updates on case progress and legal strategies
  • Collaborate with legal team members to strategize and coordinate case management
  • Conduct legal research by identifying relevant statutes, judicial decisions, and agency rulings
  • Stay informed about legislative changes that affect immigration law
  • Formulate solutions to complex legal issues
  • Perform additional duties as needed to support the firm’s mission

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) or Master of Laws (LLM) from an accredited law school
  • Active Bar license in good standing in any U.S. state
  • 2-5 years of experience in immigration law, particularly in family and humanitarian-based petitions
  • Fluency in Spanish is required due to frequent client interactions
  • Strong time management skills and attention to detail
  • Flexibility in work schedules, including weekends and off-hours availability
  • Strong communication skills, with proficiency in reading and writing in both English and Spanish
  • Advanced computer skills and ability to quickly learn new software

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) or Master of Laws (LLM) from an accredited institution

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in any U.S. state

Skills:

  • Expertise in general immigration law, with specific knowledge of family and humanitarian petitions
  • Strong bilingual communication abilities in English and Spanish
