Job Overview: A prestigious law firm located in New York City, NY, seeks a Global Equity Compensation and Employment Associate or Managing Associate with 3-5 years of experience to join its Global Employment, Equity Compensation, and Immigration practice. Duties:

• Counsel clients on various equity compensation and employment issues, including compliance with stock options, restricted stock units, and employee stock purchase plans.
• Manage multi-country analyses and draft employment-related documents and agreements.
• Conduct multijurisdictional research and project manage global teams.
• Assist in the preparation and delivery of client analysis and research.
• Handle employment agreements, handbooks, bonus plans, and diligence projects related to global M&A transactions.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in employee equity compensation or employment counseling, with a preference for cross-border experience.
• Strong academic credentials and exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Admission to the New York State Bar is mandatory.

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
