Job Overview: A well-established law firm in Fairfield, NJ is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Foreclosure Litigation Attorney to join its legal team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of creditors' rights and foreclosure litigation. This position provides the opportunity to manage a high volume of cases, conduct legal research, and represent creditors in court proceedings. Duties:

  • Represent creditors in foreclosure litigation cases, including court appearances, motion practice, and trial proceedings.
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
  • Provide legal guidance to clients on foreclosure and creditors’ rights matters.
  • Negotiate settlements and resolutions in foreclosure cases.
  • Work collaboratively with other attorneys and legal staff to ensure effective case management.
  • Keep up to date with changes in foreclosure law, creditors' rights, and related regulations.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the New Jersey State Bar.
  • 2-4 years of experience in foreclosure litigation and creditors' rights.
  • Strong knowledge of New Jersey foreclosure and creditors’ rights laws and procedures.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited institution.

Certifications:

  • An active member of the New Jersey State Bar.

Skills:

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage a high caseload in a deadline-driven environment.
