Senior Litigation Associate

Job Overview:
A prominent law firm is seeking an experienced senior-level litigation associate with a minimum of five (5) years of litigation experience. This position offers the opportunity to represent a wide range of clients, including Fortune 500 companies, national retailers, transportation carriers, and insurance firms in various litigation matters across New York State. Location:
Buffalo, NY

Duties:

• Represent clients in defense of litigation claims throughout New York State
• Manage complex litigation matters, including pre-trial, trial, and post-trial phases
• Conduct depositions, draft motions, and prepare discovery documents
• Collaborate with litigation partners and team members on case strategy
• Provide legal counsel and advice to clients on litigation-related issues
• Maintain an organized case management system and ensure timely filings
• Prepare detailed written reports, summaries, and correspondence

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of litigation experience
• Strong deposition experience and trial preparation skills
• Proven track record in managing litigation cases from inception to resolution
• Exceptional writing and communication skills
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment with senior partners
• Only applicants admitted to practice in New York will be considered
• Ability to handle multiple cases and deadlines effectively

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in New York State
