Civil Litigation Attorney

A law firm in Beverly Hills, CA, is seeking a seasoned Civil Litigation Attorney with over 7 years of experience, particularly in handling cases related to tenancy and habitability matters. The ideal candidate must be admitted to the California Bar and will have the flexibility to work in both in-person and remote arrangements. Duties:

• Manage a caseload of civil litigation matters, with a focus on tenancy and habitability issues
• Conduct legal research and analysis on relevant laws, regulations, and case precedents
• Draft and file pleadings, motions, and other court documents
• Represent clients in court hearings, arbitrations, mediations, and settlement conferences
• Collaborate with colleagues and support staff on case strategy and preparation
• Negotiate settlements and participate in alternative dispute resolution processes

Requirements:

• Minimum 7 years of experience in civil litigation, preferably with a focus on tenancy and habitability matters
• Admission to the California State Bar
• Strong knowledge of California landlord-tenant law and related statutes
• Excellent oral advocacy and negotiation skills
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated track record of successful case management and client representation

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
