A law firm seeks a Trusts and Estates Associate Attorney for its West Palm Beach, FL, location.

Job Overview:

The Trusts and Estates Associate Attorney will provide legal counsel and support in estate planning, asset protection planning, trust and estate settlement, and taxation. The ideal candidate will possess 3-6 years of trusts and estates experience, with additional expertise in complex estate planning. International estate planning experience is considered advantageous. The candidate must hold an LL.M. in Estate Planning or Taxation and a Juris Doctorate degree from an ABA accredited law school. Membership in The Florida Bar is mandatory.

Duties:

• Provide legal counsel and support in estate planning, asset protection, trust and estate settlement, and taxation matters.
• Conduct legal research and analysis related to trusts and estates law.
• Draft legal documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning instruments.
• Represent clients in estate administration and probate proceedings.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and staff on complex trusts and estates matters.
• Maintain client relationships and provide exceptional client service.

Requirements:

• 3-6 years of trusts and estates experience.
• Experience in complex estate planning, asset protection, trust and estate settlement, and taxation.
• LL.M. in Estate Planning or Taxation.
• Juris Doctorate degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Membership in The Florida Bar.
