A prestigious law firm is actively seeking talented and driven mid-level associates to join its Litigation Practice Group with a focus on Intellectual Property (IP) Litigation. This is an excellent opportunity for legal professionals with strong technical backgrounds and hands-on litigation experience to contribute to high-stakes patent litigation matters.

Location

• New York, NY

Duties

• Represent clients in patent litigation matters in federal courts and before administrative bodies

• Manage and participate in all phases of IP litigation including pleadings, discovery, motions, trials, and appeals

• Conduct complex legal research and draft legal memoranda and briefs

• Collaborate with technical experts, co-counsel, and clients to build compelling legal strategies

• Analyze patents and technical materials related to engineering, life sciences, and/or computer science

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in patent litigation

• Prior experience handling complex IP matters across various stages of litigation

• Excellent written and oral communication skills

• Strong analytical and project management capabilities

Education

• Undergraduate and/or advanced degree in one or more of the following fields:

  • Engineering

  • Computer Science

  • Chemistry

  • Biology

  • Physics

  • Related scientific or technical disciplines

Certifications

• Admission to the New York Bar.
