Duties:

  • Provide comprehensive legal counsel on trust administration, estate planning, wealth management, taxation, property distribution, charitable gifts, and other related matters.
  • Draft a variety of estate planning documents including trusts, wills, and other legal forms to meet client needs.
  • Research and apply legal standards and regulations to ensure compliance in estate and trust matters.
  • Handle complex tax and wealth planning issues for high-net-worth clients.
  • Manage multiple estate and trust cases, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
  • Guide clients on probate, inheritance, and estate management concerns.
  • Collaborate with legal colleagues and participate in firm meetings to strategize client solutions.
  • Participate in business development efforts through social engagements to attract new clients and cases.

Requirements:

  • A valid, active Oklahoma Bar license in good standing.
  • Minimum 5 years of prior experience practicing law, specifically in business transactions (7 years preferred).
  • Proficiency in handling estate planning matters, including wealth management and trust administration.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Must be licensed to practice law in the state of Oklahoma.

Certifications:

  • Active Oklahoma Bar Association membership in good standing.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of estate tax regulations and wealth planning best practices.
  • Excellent drafting skills for legal documents related to trust and estate planning.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in legal research and application of state and federal laws.
