Job Duties:

  • Communicate verbally and in writing with clients, attorneys, and third parties.
  • Produce high-quality work products, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Manage complex multi-jurisdictional projects related to international tax planning.
  • Analyze financial statements and models as part of tax planning processes.
  • Research tax issues and provide well-reasoned conclusions and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with team members and independently handle assigned tasks.
  • Adhere to firm policies and practices, maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards.
  • Meet deadlines and expectations while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Engage in virtual and physical meetings, including digital conference calls.

Requirements:

  • JD degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admitted to practice law in California.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in international tax structuring and cross-border transactions.
  • Familiarity with financial statements and models preferred.
  • Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
  • Ability to exercise good business judgment and influence others.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
  • Conceptual thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Certifications and Skills:

  • JD degree and active membership in the California Bar.
