Civil Litigation Attorney

A law firm seeks an experienced and driven Civil Litigation Attorney to join its team in San Diego, CA. Duties

• Draft pleadings, discovery requests, and responses.
• Take and defend depositions in various civil litigation matters.
• Represent clients in mediations, arbitrations, and settlement conferences.
• Advocate for clients in administrative hearings and trials.
• Provide strategic legal counsel throughout the litigation process.
• Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure high-quality case management.
• Maintain strong client relationships, keeping them informed and reassured throughout their legal journey.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in civil litigation, with a focus on employment law and business law.
• Proven experience serving as first or second chair in trials.
• California Bar license in good standing.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage a full caseload and meet deadlines efficiently.
• Comfortability in handling a variety of civil matters, including mediations, arbitrations, and trials.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admitted to practice law in California (California Bar License required).
