Duties

  • Manage litigation files across practice areas such as insurance defense, constitutional law, employment law, public sector representation, construction law, personal injury, and business litigation
  • Conduct client consultations and maintain proactive communication with clients
  • Represent clients in state and federal courts, with opportunities to serve as lead counsel
  • Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery responses
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analyze complex legal issues
  • Collaborate with colleagues to provide comprehensive legal solutions and support a team environment
  • Maintain high standards of ethics and professionalism in all client and team interactions
  • Potentially engage in labor and civil service law, including employer-side collective bargaining, depending on interest

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in litigation; trial experience is a plus but not required
  • Skills: Strong analytical and writing abilities, emotional intelligence, and the ability to handle multiple deadlines
  • Location Flexibility: Office-based role with limited remote flexibility

Education

  • Degree: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications
